Jessica A. Robison is an American actress, acting coach, and director based in Nagoya, Japan. After graduating from Union College with an English major and a theatre minor, she was involved in community theatre in her hometown, Lincoln, Nebraska, acting, singing and dancing in shows including, A Chorus Line , and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She also served as Assistant Director and Acting Coach for several shows staged by Union College Drama. After moving to Japan in 2007, she continued acting and directing, and has worked with several theatre companies including Nagoya Players and Nameless Theatre. She is also a founding member of KANGEKI Theatre. She has acted in many productions including, most recently, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2016), Much Ado About Nothing (2014), and Treasure Island (2013), all with Nameless Theatre. She is currently involved in creating and performing in an original show called ‘The Face of It’ with KANGEKI Theatre. Her directing credits include KANGEKI Theatre’s inaugural production, Nagasaki Dust (2015), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) (2011), staged with Nameless Theatre, and Assistant Director for The Boys Next Door (2008) staged with Nagoya Players. In addition to theatre, Jessica also does occasional modeling and voice-over work. When she isn't performing, she enjoys studying Japanese and running.
Jessica A. Robisonは名古屋を拠点とする、アメリカ人女優、演技指導者、そして演出家である。彼女は英語を主専攻、演劇を副専攻としてUnion Collegeを卒業し、ホームタウンであるネブラスカ リンカーンで「A Chorus Line」、「You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown」などのコミュニティシアターにおいて演技、歌、ダンスなどの活動に携わる。彼女はまた、Union college Dramaのいくつかのショーで、アシスタントディレクターや演技指導を務めた。2007年に日本に移ってからも演技や演出を続け、Nagoya Players やNameless Theatreなどのシアターカンパニーと協働した。またKAN劇Theatreの創設メンバーでもある。
彼女は多くの作品に出演しているが、直近では「真夏の夜の夢」(2016)、「から騒ぎ」(2014)、「宝島」(2013)に出演し、これらは全てNameless Theatre作品である。最近では、オリジナル作品であるKAN劇Theatreの「The Face of It」を制作中である。彼女の監督作品としては、KAN劇Theatreの初公演作品である「長崎ダスト」(2015)、Nameless Theatre公演の「3人でシェイクスピア」(2011)、アシスタントディレクターしてはNagoya Playersの「The Boys Next Door」(2008)などが挙げられる。シアター活動に加え、Jessicaはモデルや声優としても活躍している。公演のない時には、日本語の学習やランニングを楽しむ。
